We are pleased to invite you to The 20th Annual International Workshop on Retroviral Pathogenesis. The meeting will be held from November 12 – 16th, 2008 at The Sutton Place Hotel, which is located in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The format for the workshop will be similar to previous meetings, and will include experimental pathogenesis for animal retroviruses as well as HTLV. As in previous workshops, Principal Investigators will summarize their most recent work from their laboratories in 15- to 20-minute talks. There will also be poster sessions, which will provide opportunities for other lab members to present their results in more detail.

Finally, an attractive social program including an informal welcome get-together to start the workshop, organized trip to Niagara Falls and a gala dinner at The Sutton Place Hotel will round off the meeting.

The meeting will begin with registration at our welcome reception at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12th, 2008; and end on Sunday, November 16th, 2008.

Registration fees for the meeting also include hotel and most meals. Fees for single occupancy for 4 nights is $1,100 Canadian. The price for double occupancy is $800.

If you would like to attend the workshop, please fill out the registration form. Meeting payment can be made through your registration. The deadline for abstracts is October 15th, 2008 (extended from Oct. 1) and instructions for submission can be found on the call for abstracts page. Please indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation. With the growth in attendance of this workshop, it is becoming challenging to schedule talks by all of the invited attendees. We welcome your participation regardless of whether you wish to give an oral presentation.
